This open pastry is a simple dessert you can throw together in just 40 minutes. Fill your galette with anything you want – apples, peaches or blueberries. Make it savoury with potatoes or mushrooms!
Puff Pastry Plum Galette
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry
3-4 plums, thinly sliced
Optional
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon powdered sugar (or to taste)
1 sprig thyme
Recipe
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C and place puff pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Step 2
Place sliced plums in centre of puff pastry, leaving a 4cm boarder of pastry.
Step 3
Drizzle with honey and cinnamon.
Step 4
Roll the edges of the pastry over the fruit to form a rough circle.
Step 5
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is lightly browned and puffed.
Step 6
Top with sugar and a sprig of thyme if desired.
