What kind of wax and wicks do you use in your candles?
+−
All of our candles are made from natural, soy wax and lead-free cotton wicks for a longer, cleaner and
environmentally friendly burn.
Do I need to trim the wicks?
+−
Yes. We advise that you trim the wicks to 5mm and ensure they're upright prior to each new burn.
How long will a candle burn for?
+−
We aim to ensure all of our candles are as long lasting as possible, however burn times do vary based on a variety of factors including; candle maintenance, the length of each continuous burn time, placement and the age of the candle.
In ideal conditions, our Peppermint Grove 370g candles may burn for up to 80 hours and 60g candles for up to 24 hours.
To get the most out of your candles we always advise that you follow the enclosed burning instructions.
Why is there black residue on the inside of my candle glass?
+−
Black residue can appear on the inside glass of the vessel if the candle has been burning for a longer period of time and if the wicks are too long. Always ensure your candle wicks are trimmed to 5mm before each burn. Black residue can easily be removed from the glass with a damp paper towel or cloth.
Why are there bubbles or air pockets in my candle?
+−
All of our candles are hand-poured into their custom vessels as liquid wax, so when they are first poured the wax fully sticks to the interior of the vessel. When temperatures change, the wax and glass expand and contract at different rates, causing the illusion that there are areas of missing wax. This is common to all candles and is known as ‘pull away’, as the wax contracts (pulls away) from the vessel ever so slightly. We can assure you it does not affect the candle, or the burn time in any way. When you burn the candle, the wax will warm up and naturally overcome this issue.

Can I buy diffuser refills?
+−
Yes, you can! Top up your vessel with our 500ml Diffuser Refills in a range of our best-selling fragrances. Refresh your reeds with a new pair while mixing and matching fragrances. Keep in mind that your unique vessel can also be re-used for a multitude of purposes long after the diffuser has finished (for example, as a decorative vase).
What are some ways I can re-use my candle and diffuser vessels?
+−
When your candle or diffuser can no longer be used, remove the remaining wax or diffuser liquid and rinse with hot water. Your custom designed, highly polished vessel can now be used as a gorgeous keepsake for a multitude of purposes in your home, including; a vase for your fresh flowers, make-up brushes, drinking glass, a home for succulents, or a tealight holder.
How long will a diffuser last?
+−
An opened 100ml diffuser will last up to 2 months and a 350ml diffuser will last up to 6 months. Please note this can vary based on environmental factors as well as how often you flip the reeds. For best performance, please refer to the safety & care instructions on the back of the packaging the diffuser came in.
Why does the room diffuser liquid discolour when opened?
+−
This is completely normal - the fragrance in the diffuser reacts with the oxygen in the air to produce a slight colour variation. Direct sunlight can also contribute to a colour change, so please ensure your room diffuser is kept out of direct sunlight, heat and drafts.
