How To: Reuse Your Candle Vessel

Step 1: Clean Your Candle Jar

1. Freeze the Jar: Once the wax and vessel are cooled, place the jar in the freezer for a few hours. The wax will shrink, making it easy to pop out with a butter knife. Alternatively, boil water and pour into the vessel. The wax will bubble and lift to the top of the glass. The remaining wax can be loosened with a butter knife. 
2. Soak in Warm, Soapy Water: Submerge the jar in warm water with dish soap. Let it sit to loosen any remaining wax or labels.
3. Scrub Gently: Use a sponge or cloth to clean the jar thoroughly. Avoid abrasive materials to protect the jar’s finish.
